How does the daily free case work?
Each day you get one free simulated case opening. Press the button, the reel spins, and you see the item you pulled. After that the button locks until midnight on your own device clock, and a countdown shows how long is left.
Nothing here costs money. There is no key to buy, no deposit and no sign-up. The item is simulated, has no value and cannot be traded, sold or withdrawn.
Your pull is saved to the same simulated inventory as the case simulator, so it also counts toward your collection book and your profile card.
Which case do you get today?
The case changes every day. The tool walks through every case in our dataset in a fixed order, one case per calendar day. Everyone who opens the tool on the same date gets the same case, and you can see tomorrow's case under the countdown.
Because the order is fixed, a case comes back once the list has gone all the way round. That keeps it fair: older cases like the CS:GO Weapon Case get a turn just like the newest ones.
What are the odds in the daily case?
The daily case uses the exact same odds as the case simulator. There is no boost for the free case, and no bad luck added to make you come back. The odds come from the rates Valve published for CS2 weapon cases.

A few older cases do not have every tier. In that case the tool shares the missing chance out across the tiers the case does have, the same way the simulator does. The odds box on the left always shows the numbers for today's case.
Floats are picked evenly inside each skin's real float range, because Valve does not publish how floats are rolled. StatTrak shows up about 10% of the time, which is a common community estimate, not an official number. See the drop rates page for every source.
How does the daily streak work?
Your daily case streak counts how many days in a row you have opened the daily case.
- Open today and the streak goes up by one.
- Your streak stays safe until the end of tomorrow.
- Miss a whole day and it drops to 0. Your next opening starts a new streak at 1.
The tool also keeps your best streak, so a broken streak does not wipe out your record. This streak is separate from the visit streak in the header, which only needs you to visit the site.
Everything is saved in your browser. There is no account, so a new browser, a private window or cleared site data starts fresh.
What are your chances over many days?
One case a day adds up slowly. Here is what the published odds say about longer runs of daily cases.

The chance of at least one hit is 1 - (1 - p)^days, where p is the chance per case. Covert or better adds the Covert chance and the gold chance together, so p is 0.9%.
What happens over a week of daily cases?
Say you open the daily case every day for a week. Each day is its own roll. The chance that at least one of those 7 pulls is Classified or better is 1 - (1 - 0.041)^7, which is about 25.4%. So in roughly 3 weeks out of 4, a full week gives you only Mil-Spec and Restricted items.
That is normal. It is also a good picture of how real cases feel: most openings are blue and purple.
What happens if you open one every day for a year?
Now say you keep your streak going for 365 days. The chance you see at least one knife or gloves in that year is 1 - (1 - 0.0026)^365, about 61.3%. That means close to 4 people in 10 would open a case every day for a year and still see no knife. When should you use the daily case?
Use it as a small daily habit. It is a quick way to see a real case's contents, learn the rarity colors and grow your streak and level. If you want to open the same case many times, use the case simulator. If you want the math for a set number of cases, use the case odds calculator.
