Is the CS2 case simulator free?
Yes. There are no keys to buy, no deposit and no sign-up. The items you pull are simulated and cannot be traded.
Does the simulator use the real case odds?
Yes. Every roll uses the drop rates Valve published: 79.92% Mil-Spec, 15.98% Restricted, 3.2% Classified, 0.64% Covert and 0.26% knife or gloves. Nothing is boosted. See the drop rates page.
Where do the item prices come from?
Each pull is priced at the lowest Skinport listing for that exact item, wear and StatTrak state, from a dated snapshot. The date is shown next to the price. If there is no recent listing, the tool says so instead of guessing.
How much does one case opening cost?
One opening is the case plus a key. The tool adds the lowest Skinport listing for the case to the key price in our config. For the Fever Case in the 24 Sep 2026 snapshot that was $0.53 + $2.49 = $3.02.
What does the "If this were real money" panel show?
It shows how many cases you opened this session, what they would have cost, what your pulls are listed for, and the net result in green or red. It also shows your best pull and how many skins from the case you have collected on this device.
Can I open more than one case at a time?
Yes. Open x2, x3 or x5 spins that many reels at once, and each reel lands on its own roll. Quick open 10 skips the reel. Fast mode shortens the spin to about 1 second, and Space opens again.
Are the reel items next to my pull rigged to look close?
No. The items around your pull are drawn with the same real odds as the pull itself. There are no planted near misses.
Can I compare this with real case costs over many openings?
